England (c1960)
An impressive 18K yellow gold and diamond set of jewelry by George Weil. The cheveron patterned necklace and bracelet made of gold tubes accented with 4 carats of round diamonds and seven carats of round emeralds. Weil , although not as well known as the robust Andrew Grima, produced a similar style of jewelry during the 1960’s and 70’s. His attention to detail shines in the craftsmanship of this suite of jewelry. Even though the necklace and bracelet appear rigid, the construction makes them feel like silk. Lovely and one of a kind. Necklace is 16″ (2″ at point in front) and bracelet,7″(2″ at widest point)signed G.Weil
