Russia (c1900) A charming silver-gilt and champlevé enamel box designed exclusively for Tiffany and Company. The bulbous heart-shaped box embellished with stylized flowers,lattice and scroll-work,in rich turquoise, cornflower and ultramarine enamel with a hinged lid. Hallmarks reveal the makers mark of Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow, 1896-1908, made for Tiffany & Co. The box measures 2 1/4″. A fabulous and rare piece of Russian work by former Faberge artist A. Kuzmichev. Interesting ,collectible, beautiful! , some very slight enamel loss to right front.
